How to play Mahjong Solitaire

Remove matching pairs of free tiles. Each tile must be uncovered and have an open left or right side. Clear all 144 tiles to win. Turtle is the default layout; other shapes are available through Layout.

Play your way

Choose a winnable or random deal, try the Daily Puzzle, or restart the same arrangement. Hint, Shuffle, Undo and Redo are free. Choose any tile design, symbol set or background in Settings.

Can every Mahjong deal be won?

Winnable deals have a verified solution at the start. Your choices can still block a board. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. Use free Undo, Shuffle or Restart if you get stuck.

Is my game saved?

Your board and preferences are saved in this browser. Clearing site data removes those saves.
